Frances Rickett NohsePublished Wednesday, September 25, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesFrances Ricket Nohse, 76, of Shreveport, La., died Wednesday, September 18, 1996, at Bosier Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Gurdon. Mrs. Nohse was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Albert Nohse, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Hobert Rickett. Survivors include four daughters, Charolette Gates of Shreveport, Rebecca Nohse of Gurdon, Marsha Pugh of Homer, La., and Debra Friar of Bossier City La.; two sisters, Willadean Tarpley and Slyvia Bailey, both of Gurdon; ten grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were held Friday, September 20, at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. Dr. Drew Landry, pastor of Trinity Heights Baptist Church, officiated. Graveside services were held Friday at the South Fork Cemetery near Gurdon. Memorials may be made to the South Fork Cemetery fund or the American Heart Association.
