Charles 'Billy Joe' Jester

Charles 'Billy Joe' Jester, 64, of White Oak died Tuesday, July 20, 1999, at Longview, Texas, Regional Hospital.

Mr. Jester was born October 3, 1934, in Gurdon. He has been a resident of White Oak since 1977. He was a retired heavy equipment foreman. Mr. Jester was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mamie Jester

Survivors include his wife, Carol of White Oak; sons, David, Danny and Calvin of Longview and Brian and Kevin of San Diego, Calif.; a sister and brother-in-law Patsy and Jewell Toland of Camden; three grandchildren, Joshua Wayne Jester of Longview; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Thursday, July 22, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Longview with Rev. Donnie Goodwin officiating. Burial was in New White Oak Cemetery under the direction of Rador Funeral Home of Longview.
