State Pass, Punt, and Kick Is Saturday

The South Clark County Jaycees would like to remind the winning participants of the 1996 Punt, Pass and Kick Competition that the state sectional competitions will be held Saturday, October 12, in Conway at Conway High School.

The competition will begin at 8:00 a.m.

Only the first place winners are eligible to participate.

If you need directions or a ride to the competition contact Kenneth Harper at 353-4025.

There will also be a Halloween party October 19 at the residence of Community Development Vice President Sherry Pheonix on Airport Road. All members are urged to attend and bring a potential new member.

The member bringing the most new members will recieve a free registeration to the state November board meeting in Fayetteville.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Jaycees contact Kenneth Harper at 353-4025 or Sharon Mross at 722-2320.

The Jaycees are organizing a 5-K run-walk for ages 15 years old an up to be held at the Gurdon Forest Festival. The registeration fee is $15 per participant.

Each participant will receive a T-shirt. Trophies will also be presented to the winners.

Sponsors are needed to offset the expense of the run. Sponsors who donate $250 and up get their company's logo on the shirts. Sponsors who donate $25 to $250 will get their company's name on the shirt.
