Woodrow `Tip' WhitePublished Wednesday, October 9, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneWoodrow `Tip' Wilson White, 79, of Prescott died Tuesday, October 1, 1996, in Hope. Born December 26, 1916, in Cale, he was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Prescott, a retired postal worker, member of VFW, American Legion and National Association of Letter Carriers. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Dickinson White of Prescott; one son, Marty White of Little Rock; one daughter, Elaine Halliday of Gurdon; one sister, Ruby Ward of Benton; four grandchildren; and one great grandson. Services were held Thursday, October 3, at the First Assembly of God Church in Prescott with Al Womack and Charlie Murphy officiating.
