Glass, Kisselburh Exchange Vows In Double Ring Ceremony June 7Published Wednesday, October 9, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneMary Allison Glass and Virgle Henry Kisselburg III were united in marriage Friday, June 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Burke officiating the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George D. Glass and the granddaughter of Mary A. Glass, all of Prescott. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgle Kisselburg Jr. and the grandson of Mary L. Kisselburg and Willie Mae Wood, all of Prescott. The church was decorated using a heart shaped arch intertwined with wisteria, a white multi-flower arrangement, two candelabras accented with red roses and red and white lace bows. On each side of the pulpit, the corner walls were accented with white tulle poufs tied with red roses and red and white lace bows. Pew markers were red and white lace bows with red roses. The guest book was set up on a white wrought iron table covered with a lace cloth. Prenuptial music was provided by Nancy Burke and Harley Hillery, both of Prescott. Harley sang "I Swear." Nancy played "The Wedding March" and also played as she and Harley sang while the couple lit the unity candle. Escorted by her father, the bride was lovely in a Bianchi wedding gown. The formal gown had a sweetheart neckline, a fitted lace bodice, that ended in a V and was accented with irridescent sequins and pearls. The full skirt had lace on the hem and train. The bride chose a matching headpiece of satin roses accented with sequins and pearls and illusion veiling extending elbow length. The bride carried a cascading bouquet of red multi-flowers accented with white multi- flowers, lace and pearls. Angela York of Prescott served as maid of honor, Connie Kirkham, Laura Parks and Kelly Baker, all of Prescott, served as bridesmaids. They wore long sheath gowns of red satin with a draped cowl back and matching satin shoes. They carried bouquets of white multi-flowers acceted with red roses, lace with red ribbon and pearls. The best man was James Dale Ledbetter of Prescott. Brad Pollard, Randall Grimes and Jeff Collier, all of Prescott, were groomsmen. They wore black tuxedos with red vests and bow ties. Jason Kisselburg, brother of the groom and Jeremy Jackson, both from Prescott, served as candlelighters and joined Casey Hendrix from Arkadelphia as ushers. They wore black tuxedos with black vests and bowties that correspended with the groom's. The groom wore a tuxedo with a white jacket with black lapels, black pants and bowtie. Jenna Glass, niece of the bride, of Hope, and Samantha Reel, cousin of the groom, of Albuquerque, served as flower girls. They wore white satin dresses with chiffon overlay with white lace trim on the pouf sleeves and a red satin sash that tied in a bow in the back. They carried white baskets decorated with red roses, lace and ribbon and filled with red silk rose petals. For her daughter's wedding, the bride's mother wore a red tea length dress accented with pearls on the bodice. The groom's mother chose a navy and white tea length two-piece dress. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship area. The area was decorated using white lattice draped with red tulle and red and white flowers. The bride's table was decorated with a red satin tablecloth with a white lace overlay. The bride's bouquet was the centerpiece. The three tiered wedding cake had columns separating each layer decorated with flowers and pearls. The cakes and mints were made by Gail Gulley of Prescott. The red sherbert punch was served from a crystal punch bowl by Kelly Whitmarsh and Trish Brzeski, both of Prescott. The groom's table was covered with a red linen tablecloth and a red and white arrangement used as a centerpiece. The red velvet cake with cream cheese icing was deocrated with a four-wheeler. Coffee was served from a silver tea service. Charlene Woods and Tina Kisselburg, cousins of the groom, both from Prescott served at the groom's table.
