Emmet Plans Benefits For October 12th

The Emmet Bike-A-Thon and Walk-A-Thon will be held October 12 beginning at 9 a.m. to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

There will also be a horse-a-thon starting at 12:00.

Everyone turning in money will receive a certificate; turn in $35 and get a t-shirt and certificate; turn in $75 and get t-shirt, certificate and sports bag; turn in $100 or more and receive a jam box. If more than one there will have to be a drawing for the jam box.

Jesus Love The Little Children Gospel Jamboree will be held at 2 p.m. with $1 donation admission fee. If you would like to participate call Anita Allen at 887-5049.

There will be a concession stand, craft booths, face painting and finger printing.

For entry forms so that you may obtain your donations for your special event, contact Allen at 887-5049.

Extra forms can be picked up at the Eagle's Nest in Emmet and Jack Faulkner Body Shop in Prescott.
