Joel David ChamleePublished Wednesday, October 16, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneJoel David Chamlee, 83, of Texarkana, Arkansas, formerly of Cale, died Thursday, October 2, 1996, in a Texarkana hospital. Born April 18, 1913, in Cale, he had lived in Texarkana for the past 47 years. He was a retired carpenter and was a member of Cathedral Heights Nazarene Church in Texarkana. He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Chamlee. Survivors include his wife, Blanche Sutton Chamlee of Texarkana; one son, Don Chamlee of Texarkana; two sisters, Evelyn Daniel of Prescott and Norma Jean Bulka of Montgomery, Ala.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, October 5, in the Texarkana Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Harold Durham officiating.
