Committee Elections PlannedPublished Wednesday, October 16, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Hempstead-Nevada FSA County Committee Election will take place during October and November. The area of election is LAA-5 (South East Part of Nevada County, east of Highway 53) a highlighed map is available at the FSA office. Committee members will be elected by direct election using mail ballots. Producers interested in nominating individuals for the county committee should pick up a nominating petition from the FSA office. The final date to return the nomination petition forms will be October 28. The slate of nominees will be developed and ballots will be mailed to eligible producers by November 18.
