Lacy Earns Academic Scholarship To UA Community College In Hope

The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope is pleased to announce that Sherconja Lacy, a senior at Prescott High School has been awarded an academic scholarship to attend University Community College at Hope. The scholarship is based upon an ACT and/or grade point average plus a recommendation from a school official.

Lacy is the daughter of Calvin Lacy and Adell Hardaman of Prescott. She will be pursuing an associate of applied science in business technolgy. This is the first scholarship recipient for 1997.
