Edward L. HarmonPublished Wednesday, October 23, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesEdward L. Harmon, 80, of Gurdon died Wednesday, October 16, 1996. He was a retired Reynolds Metals employee, an army veteran of World War II, a member of Whelen Springs Baptist Church and the Steel Workers of America. Survivors include his wife, Sue Harmon of Whelen Springs; two sons, Bryce Lenard Harmon of De Queen and Bryan Harmon of Rowlette, Texas; one brother, Wilson Harmon of Malvern; five grandchildren, Hollye Watkins, Brett Harmon, Megan Harmon, Lena Clifton and Jed Smith; one great grandchild, Brenna Watkins; and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services were Friday, September 18, at Bethlehem Cemetery with Bro. Marion Harmon officiating. Arrangements were by Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
