Prescott Elementary Supply List

Prescott Elementary School has announced its school supply list for the 1999-2000 school year.

Kindergarten: 1 plastic rest mat (no thick mats); 4 boxes of Crayola brand crayons (16 count); 12 #2 pencils; 2 pairs of Fiskar scissors; 1 box of Kleenex facial tissues; 1 roll of paper towels; 1 complete change of clothing, including underwear (labeled in a Ziploc bag); 1 backpack; 2 first grade writing tablets (these can be purchased in the school office); 1 jumbo eraser; 1 package of tip erasers; 1 bottle of liquid soap; 1 plastic school box (cigar box size); 1 long stamped, self-addressed envelope; and $5 for Weekly Reader and science supplement.

First grade: first grade spelling tablet (to be bought in the school office only); first grade manuscript tablet (to be bought in the school office only); 1 bottle of school glue; 2 boxes of crayons ( 1 should be 8-count only); 1 pair of blunt scissors; 2 pencils (more as needed throughout the year); 2 large boxes of facial tissues; 1 school box (small cardboard or plastic); 1 set of watercolors; 4 folders with pockets and brads; 1 long stamped, self-addressed envelope; and $3.50 for Weekly Reader.

Second grade: 1 box crayons (16-count); 1 bottle Elmer's glue (4-oz.); 1 pair pointed scissors; 2 short manila folders (do not put names on these); 2 second grade manuscript tablets; 4 one subject Neatbook notebooks (no trapper keepers); 2 large boxes Kleenex facial tissues (200 count); 1 roll paper towels; 1 school box (cigar box size); 1 package of #2 pencils; 1 long stamped, self-addressed envelope; and $3.50 for Weekly Reader.

Third grade: 2 bottles of liquid soap; 1 box crayons (24-count); 1 bottle of glue; 1 pair of scissors; 1 large boxes facial tissues; 1 roll paper towels; 3 second grade manuscript tablets; 3 pocket folders; 3 manila folders (do not put names on these); 1 ruler; #2 pencils as needed throughout the year; notebook paper as needed throughout the year; 1 five-subject spiral notebook (no trapper keeper); 1 5x8 manila self-addressed, stamped envelope; and $3.75 for Weekly Reader.

Fourth grade: 1 box crayons (24-count); 1 bottle of school glue (4 ounces); 1 pair of scissors (labeled); 2 boxes facial tissues (200 count); 1 ruler with centimeter and inch measurements; 1 school box (no large plastic boxes); 2 rolls paper towels; 2 bottles of liquid soap; 1 three-ringer binder; #2 pencils as needed; looseleaf paper as needed; and 1 long stamped-self- addressed envelope.
