Ardell M. ClarkPublished Wednesday, October 23, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneArdell M. Clark, 88, of North Little Rock, formerly of DeAnn and Hope, died Saturday, October 12, 1996, in North Little Rock. Born November 10, 1907, in DeAnn, he was the son of Alex and Maggie Clark. He was a resident engineer and maintenance supervisor for the Arkansas Highway Department, having retired in 1970. He was a member of the Hope Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Moore Clark. Survivors include a son, William Clark of Las Cruces, N.M.; two daughters, Sue Bolls of Three Forks, Mont., and Margie Wood of North Little Rock; one brother, Bryan Clark of Hope; eight grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Services were held Thursday, October 17, at Hope Church of Christ with Tommy Mounts and John Cannon officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Herndon Funeral Home of Hope. Memorials may be made to the Hope Church of Christ or Harding University.
