Expo Set For Hope This Saturday

The 1999 Children's Health Expo will be held Saturday, July 31, at Fair Park Coliseum in Hope from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The group will meet at Munn's Chapel Church parking lot at 9:15 a.m. and will leave there at 9:30 in to Hope. There will be at least two vans and several cars to transport the boys and girls to the expo. The group plans to leave Hope at 3 p.m. and return to Prescott thereafter.

The Expo will involve such features as weight, height, vision, hearing, development, dental and ear exams, immunizations (must have immunization record).

Fifty education and informational booths, including nutrition, drugs, alcohol abuse, water safety, playground safety, fire safety, health education, bicycle safety and school readiness will be at the fair.

There will be all sorts of entertainment, games, giveaways, door prizes, hot air balloon rides, clowns, free juices, popcorn, watermelon and much much more.

A parent or guardian's permission is required. The boys and girls who do not have transportation to Munn's Chapel should call their mentor. Sponsors of the trip would like to have as many parents as possible to go.
