Themious BlakelyPublished Wednesday, October 30, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneThemious Blakely, 90, of Rosston died Saturday, October 19, 1996, in Magnolia. Born February 10, 1906, in Rosston, he was the son of Willion and Luellen Blakely. He was a member of Madison Street Church of Christ in Camden. He married the late Lodia Scott in 1927 and they had two children. He later married Janie, Jewel and Addie, all who preceded him in death. Survivors include one daughter, Odessa Blakely-Thorn-Quamina; three stepdaughters, Hazel Berton, Helen Brooke, and F. Jeane Alexander; one stepson, Joseph Kendrix; two granddaughters, eight great grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, October 26, at Harrison Chapel Baptist Church in Rosston with Bro. Lonmell Herron officiating. Burial was in Harrison Chapel Cemetery with Golden Crown Lodge 411 F.& A.M. Prince Hall Affiliation in charge.
