Georgia McRavenPublished Wednesday, October 30, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneGeorgia Ann McRaven, 85, of Queen City, Texas, formerly of Prescott, died Saturday, October 26, 1996, in Atlanta, Texas. Born September 4, 1911, in Prescott, she was a housewife, the widow of W.M. McRaven and a Baptist. Survivors include four sons, William Roy McRaven of Queen City, Winfred P. McRaven of Highland Park, Texas, Winston J. McRaven of Lagrange, Texas, and James Windle McRaven of Hope; one daughter, Anna Marie Howell of Hooks, Texas; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Services were held Monday, October 28, at Shackelford Funeral Home chapel in Prescott. Burial was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Prescott under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
