Homecoming Parade SetPublished Wednesday, October 30, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayunePrescott's homecoming parade will be held Thursday afternoon at 5:00 in downtown Prescott. The PHS homecoming is Friday night, when the Prescott Curley Wolves will host the Fouke Panthers at the PHS Stadium. Shannon Chambliss has been chosen homecoming Queen. See the football page for a photo and complete list of her court. Floats in the parade will be judged on creativity, neatness and overall appearance. The parade line-up will be at 4:30 p.m. on West Third and Main Street, behind the Methodist Church playground. The parade will follow Main and turn right on Highway 67. At Elm Street the parade will turn left and cross the railroad tracks, continuing to Taylor's Big Star, where the parade will end. The PHS Student Council sponsors the parade. Andy Almand, president of the Student Council, says that it promises to be the best homecoming parade yet. Everyone is encouarged to come out and support the Curley Wolves. The Curley Wolves slipped to 6-2 after they had to forfeit the Ashdown game because of an ineligible player. Prescott fans can also see the outstanding Wolf Pride band perform during halftime.
