Christmas Workshop To Be Held At Old Washington

To help you decorate this year, Old Washington Historic State Park is hosting a Christmas Designers Workshop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. November 16. The fee is $20 and includes lunch. Then, return to the town on December 7 when the park, in conjunction with the Friends of the Southwest Arkansas Regional Archives, will host `Christmas and Candlelight' from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The park will be decorated with 19th century decorations and thousands of luminarias will light the way for visitors to stroll the streets. Carolers and minstrels will perform and tours of the park's historic structures will be offered. Admission is $10 for adults and $6 for children at the gate. The `Festival of Christmas' will be presented at the Jones Performing Arts Center at Ouachita Baptist University at 7:30 p.m., December 5-7. December 5-7 at 6:30 p.m. a madrigal feast will be presented at Henderson State University. A Messiah sing-along will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on December 10 at Ouachita Baptist University.
