Bluff City EHC

The Bluff City Helping Hands EHC Club met July 8 at the Church of Christ for our regular meeting.

Marguerite Tomlin president called the meeting to order. She read a card from the Glen Walker family and a card from Ruth Sullivan, thanking our club for their food and flowers.

There were 12 members present.

Laverne Green, secretary, call the roll with everyone answering, 'When I seek a quit moment.'

Everyone needs a quiet time each day to concentrate on what God has done and to give thanks for all his blessings.

Ruth Sullivan, treasurer, gave a report on the club's finances.

The program for July was 'Concerns for the Elderly,' which was given by Vernell Loe. She told of many ways everyone could help themselves as they grow older. The food one eats and the exercise one gets is very important.

Candace Carrie will be glad to give you more information on this subject if you go by the Extension office.

Food service committee members for July, August and September are Hazel Plyler, Laverne Green and Vernell Loe.

Hostesses for the meeting were Laverne Green and Vernell Loe.

Potluck was enjoyed by all.
