JUNIOR GIRLS

The junior Lady Jays prevented the sweep with a 41-21 win over the Lady 'Pups.

The Nevada quintet dominated the contest, taking an 8-5 lead after one and holding a 17-7 advantage at the half, before going up 33-14 at the end of three and coasting to the win.

Shiheta Henry owned the boards, scoring 15 to lead all players. Jackie House came alive with an even dozen points in the contest.

Chandra Carey led Saratoga with eight.

The NJHS girls were five of 11 in free throws, while the Saratoga five only netted four of nine.

The Jays host Bradley Friday, Nov. 15 as the junior boys take to the hardwood with the two senior teams.
