The Lady Jays fought hard against the Lady 'Dogs, only to fall 41-40.

The Nevada team found itself on the wrong end of the score from the outset. The Lady 'Dogs jumped ahead 13-7 after one and were up 19-15 at the break. The Lady Jays fought hard, but trailed 33-28 after three.

Easter led the Lady Jays scoring attack, sending the egg through the hold for 13 points. Young added nine.

Ebony Hopkins and Sharika Vaughn paced the Lady 'Dogs with 13 each.

The Lady Jays didn't shoot well from the line as they only converted two of seven free throws. The Lady 'Dogs, though, hit seven of 19.
