JUNIOR BOYSPublished Wednesday, November 13, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe junior 'Runners had Nevada's number as they posted a 64-30 win. The game was close for six minutes as the 'Runners posted a 14-8 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. By halftime, Stephens led 35-14, and held a commanding 52-20 advantage after three. No member of the NJHS squad managed to reach double figures in the contest. However, four Jays scored four points each: Justin Curtis, Keon Page, Jerrun Lewis and Chris Kenzel. Things were different for the other side, though. Antonion Glover scorched the cords for 26 points, while teammate Brandon Glover added 21.
