The Lady Jays managed an 11-10 first period lead, but wound up trailing 22-19 at the break. Stephens had stretched their lead to six points, 39-33, at the end of three. Denise Torrance paced the Lady Roadrunners with 18 points, while Kasey Brchia added 15 in the win. Shonda Young led the Lady Jays with 11, while Dilesha Eater netted nine. Deloris Wincher and Anita Loudermill added eight each. Stephens was two of five from the free throw line, while Nevada shot 50 percent, netting six of 12.
