Alexander WilliamsonPublished Wednesday, November 13, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneAlexander Williamson, 64, of Emmet died Wednesday, November 6, 1996, at Columbia Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Born February 11, 1932, in Hempstead County, he was a self-employed farmer, a veteran of the Korean War and a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Hempstead County. Survivors include his wife, Lucille Williamson of Emmet; five daughters, Myrtle Joyce Smith of Arkadelphia, Anne Jewell McGill of Little Rock, Brenda Carol Hayden of Prescott, Charlotte Briggs of Nashville and Gayle Lynette Ross of Fullerton, Calif.; five brothers, Ozell Williamson of California, Hiley Williamson of Chicago, Ill., Wyatt Williamson Jr. of El Dorado, Benjamin Williamson of Clow, and James Williamson of Emmet; seven sisters, Arritha Wells of Chicago, Ill., Velma Chambers of Texarkana, Texas, Christine Miller of Emmet, Bobbie McFayden of Maywood, Ill., Essie Morrison of Hope, Eunice Adams of Texarkana, Texas, Helen Mathis of Emmet; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Services were held Monday, October 11, at Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home chapel in Prescott with Rev. Rondy Briggs officiating.
