RedlandHazel MeeksPublished Wednesday, July 28, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune We had a safe and terrific time at our 'family time' meeting this past Wednesday. There were about 100 people present at DeGray Lake and about 35 of those were from Shady Grove. Thanks to all who participated and made the service possible. Danny, Cherrie and Katy Wilson spent last Saturday and Sunday in Warren to attend the 11- and 12-year-old girls All-Star softball tournament. The team finished second in the state in their division. Our nephew and niece, Gary and Alice Meeks from North Little Rock visited Neil and me on Monday. Clark and Myla Crellin has returned from a week's business trip to Madison, Wis. Billie Ann Gass from Chickasha, Okla., is spending several days with her mother, Aline Taylor. Our daughter-in-law, Betty Wilson, visited Neil and me on Tuesday and then she went on to Amity and spent the night with a long time friend, Sarah Lou Pounds Steed. Sarah took Betty to the airport in Shreveport on Friday to fly to Florida to spend several days with her sister Jean. Harvey and Ruth Barham from Dallas spent the weekend at their home here.
