Oree Joe is visiting his mother Clara Joe. She is in Beverly Health and Rehab in Prescott. Let's pray for her. Her son lives in Rockford, Ill. Someone broke into Mrs. Girtie Blake's home last week while she was away. We do not know who did it, but God knows. She lives alone and is a sick lady. Lets pray for her and who ever broke into her house. The revival was at the Church of God in Christ last week. They really did have a good meeting. Missionary Tessie Scott was the guest speaker for the week. They really did give her some nice gifts. She lives in Dallas, Texas. Our homecoming will be held at New Salem the second Sunday in August. It is mostly cemetery upkeep. We need your help with the upkeep of the cemetery. We are asking each family for $20. This is the first time we have run out of money. Those of you who have people buried over there please pay something. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
