Howard RhodesPublished Wednesday, November 20, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneHoward Rhodes, 71, of Caney died Monday, November 11, 1996, at his home after a lengthy illness. Born on October 28, 1925, he was the son of Albert and Letha Rhodes. He was a self-employed farmer, a member of Morris Baptist Church, a mason and a World War II veteran. Survivors include his wife, Louise Rhodes of Caney; three sons, Ellis Rhodes of Laneburg, Mike Rhodes of North Little Rock and Bill Rhodes of Caney; one sister, Helen Jordan of Prescott; and six grandchildren. Services were held Wednesday, November 13, at Morris Baptist Church with Rev. Junior Loe and Rev. Raymond Hicks officiating.
