Sally Mae ArmstrongPublished Wednesday, November 27, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneSally Mae Armstrong, 71, of Prescott died Monday, November 18, 1996, in St. Michael Health Care Center in Texarkana, Texas. Born November 9, 1925, in Prescott, she was the daughter of George and Beulah Hale. She was a computer supervisor with San Bernardino County in California, a Baptist and the widow of William Armstrong. Survivors include two sons, William Bernard Armstrong of San Bernardino and Charles Nevin Armstrong of San Jose, Calif.; one brother, Joseph Hale of Little Rock; three sisters, Aristene Young and Georgia Stephens, both of Chicago, Ill., and Ora Wiley of Prescott; and four grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, November 23, at Macedonia Baptist Church at Boughton with Rev. Elizie Young officiating.
