'Report Card' To Be ReleasedPublished Wednesday, November 27, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe state's annual report card on Arkansas public schools will be released during a news conference at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2. The conference will be held in the auditorium of the Arch Ford Education Builiding, 4 Capitol Mall in Little Rock. Act 668 of 1989, also known as the `School Report Card Act,' established the Arkansas Department of Education's office of accountability. The office is responsible for compiling current information and publishing a report assessing the performance of Arkansas' schools and school districts.
