Eliza RandlePublished Wednesday, September 1, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneEliza Randle, 82, of Cotton Valley, La., died Saturday, August 21, 1999 in Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Randle was born February 16, 1917, in Cotton Valley to the late Henry and Louise Hawthorne. She was united in holy matrimony on April 25, 1931, to the late John Ester Randle. To this union one child was born. Mrs. Randle united with Valley Peace Baptist Church in Cotton Valley at an early age. She remained a faithful member and served on the usher board until her health failed. She leaves to cherish precious memories one son and daughter-in-law, J.D. and June Randle; five grandchildren, Jerry Randle (Conse), Russell Randle (Karen), Donald Randle, Sandra Randle, Billy Randle (Sandra) and Mitchell Randle, who preceded her in death; nine step grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 19 step great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two step great great grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Services were held Saturday, August 28, at Valley Peace Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Harris, pastor, officiating. Burial was under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Homer, La.
