Wilson Awarded ScholarshipPublished Wednesday, December 4, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesThe office of University Relations and Admissions of Henderson State University has announced that Melanie Wilson has been awarded the Presidential Academic Scholarship for 1997-88. According to Vikita Bell Hardwrick, director, the Presidential Academic Scholarship is equivalent to instate registration fees (tutition) plus housing for up to four years, which equals approximately $13,584. Melanie is the daughter of Roy and Elizabeth Wilson and the granddaughter of Darlelne Hendricks of Gurdon. She is currently a student at Gurdon High School.
