Archie Lee LangstonPublished Wednesday, December 4, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneArchie Lee Langston, 76, of Prescott died Wednesday, November 20, 1996, at Providence St. Margaret Hospital in Kansas City, Kan. Born January 15, 1920, in Hempstead County, he was retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad and a member of the Corthan Chapel A.M.E. Church in Prescott. Survivors include his wife, Eloise Langston of Prescott; three sons, Archie Lee Langston Jr. and James Robert Langston, both of Kansas City, Mo., and Jerry Don Langston of Louisville, Ky.; one daughter, Hazel Mae Langston of Kansas City, Mo.; one bother, Elued Langston of Prescott; one sister, Lillie Mae Piggie of Tacoma, Wash.; six grandchildren; and one great grandson. Services were held Tuesday, November 26, at Corthan Chapel A.M.E. Church in Prescott with Rev. Monteal Rhynes officiating.
