Trailblazers Attend Branson Holiday Shows

Forty-six Prescott Trailblazers left Saturday, November 23, to see the Christmas shows in Branson, Mo.

When they arrived in Branson, they had reservations at Mesquite Charlie's Steakhouse for lunch.

Saturday afternoon they went to the Yellow Ribbon Theatre to see Tony Orlando's super spectacular Christmas show.

The Trailblazers had reservations Saturday night at the Champagne Theatre to see the beautiful Lawrence Welk Christmas show.

Another highlight of the trip was going to the magnificent Shoji Tabuchi Theatre to see Shoji's Christmas show.

This is a wonderful family show with a touch of class. Shoji is acclaimed as one of the greatest entertainers in the world and astounds and amazes every audience with his incredible talent and versatility. His daughter, Christina, has emerged as one of the brightest young stars to burst into the Branson scence also performed.

Those making the trip from Prescott were Sybil Sherman, Bobbie Gautsche, Verna Martin, Ernestine Herring, Joe and Elizabeth Bolls, Mariam Purtle, Virginia Easterling, Mary Loe, Marie Eley, Evelyn Martindale, Gertrude Firmin, Nina Price, Elaine Barlow, Betty Thaxton, Curtis and Mary Johnson, Polly Phillips, Bobbie Brown, Joyce Bright, Gay Clark, Julia Stockton, Betty Dickerson and Dawn McKinnon.

Out-of towners included Irma Sue Purtle, Lucille Armstrong, Juanita Murch, Mary Ann Whie and Amanda Harmon of Sutton; Margie Compton of Hot Springs, Linda Minish of Antoine; Rose Caler and Mary Moore of Ashdown; Mildred Johnson, Phyllis Butler and Nancy Swaty of Little Rock; Len and Winnie Harrell of Hampton; Lucy Glass, Margie Reed and Ruby Wicker of Caney; Earline Butler and Morine Butler of Bodcaw; Lois Jones and Reba Willson of Henderson, Texas; and Julia King of Shreveport, La.
