Roy Charles SmeltzerPublished Wednesday, January 8, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneRoy Smeltzer, 78, of Prescott, died December 28, 1996, in Texarkana, Texas. He was born November 6, 1918, in Rosston. He was a certified public accountant (CPA) and a Baptist. He was a graduate of Baylor University and Indiana University and he was a CPA for the Humble Oil Company. He was also a former resident of New Orleans, La. Survivors included four nephews, Robert T. Lynn of Prescott, Frank L. Smeltzer of Murphy, Texas, William Roy Lynn of San Antonio, Texas, and Jimmie L. Smeltzer of Rogers; and a niece, Katherine L. Lynn of Prescott. Services were Monday, December 30, at First Baptist Church in Prescott. Burial was in DeAnn Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Cornish Funerl Home of Prescott.
