Apply Now For Energy AssistancePublished Wednesday, January 8, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesThe Central Arkansas Development Council will begin taking applications for energy assistance Monday, January 6, 1997. The Low-income Home Energy Assistance Program will assist eligible households meet the cost of home energy. This assistance will be in form of a payment to the household's energy supplier: Applicants must bring with them the folowing: 1) Proof of all income received in the prior month. 2) Social Security numbers for household members. 3) Knowledge of birth dates of all household members. 4) Most recent heating bill at present address (either paid or unpaid). 5) Knowledge of resources such as savings and checking accounts. Failure to bring all information will delay the application. Interested persons may make application at Central Arkansas Development Council offices at the following locations and times: Days and times applications taken, Tuesday and Wednesday 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. CADC office address, Arkadelphia Senior Adult Center 1201 Hwy 67 South (Fair Grounds) Arkadelphia.
