Garry Leon BrumitPublished Wednesday, January 8, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesGarry Leon Brumit, 49, of Kirbyville, Texas, died Thursday, January 2, 1997. He was an electronic technician, a Baptist and a retired veteran of the Vietam War with 21 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Sonja Brumit of Kirbyville; two sons, Daniel Leon Brumit and Nathan Garry Brumit, both of Kirbyville; seven brothers, Herman Brumit of Pregram, Tenn., Bobby, Kenny and Jimmy Brumit of Nashville, Tenn., Tommy and Jackie Brumit of Kingston Springs, Tenn., and Charlie Brumit of Santa Fe, Tenn.; and four sisters, Betty Ray of Santa Fe, Tenn., Dot Brown, Columbia, Tenn., and June Hedge and Helen Eves both of Nashville, Tenn.
