Albert W. ClarkPublished Wednesday, January 8, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesAlbert W. Clark, age 77, of Warren died Monday, December 30, 1996 in the Bradley County Memorial Hospital in Warren. Born February 19, 1919 in Drew County a son of the late James Thomas and Carrie Mae Warren Clark he was a retired saw filer for International Paper Company, member of Immanuel Baptist Church, a 32nd. degree Mason and the widower of Myrtie Marcelle Vining Clark who died January 6, 1995. They were united in marriage December 14, 1940. Survivors are four daughters Gelynn of Warren, Judy Walker of Crossett, Billie Cockrell of Crossett and Marsha Ballentine of Hamburg; two brothers, Delbert Clark of Sheridan and Orville Clark of Strong; one sister Katheryn Thomas of Bossier City, LA. 11 grandchilren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 31, 1996 at Frazer's Funeral Home with Rev. Orville Clark and Rev. Floyd Griffis officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery.
