Dock McKinneyPublished Wednesday, January 15, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneDock McKinney, 90, of Willisville died Thursday, January 2, 1997, in Wadley Hospital in Texarkana. Born December 3, 1906 in Willisville, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elex McKinney. He was a deacon in the St. James Church of God In Christ. He was preceded in death by one child, O.D. McKinney. Survivors include his wife, Mollie McKinney of the home; three sons, George McKinney of the home, Grady McKinney of Chicago, Ill., James Martin of Toledo, Ohio; seven daughters, Versie Lee Burden of Kalamazoo, Mich., Ora Lee Evans of Milwaukee, Wisc., Ocie Lee Hill of Dallas, Texas, Octavia Wingfield and Nadine McKinney of Texarkana, Texas, Zeola Young of Rosston and Viola Gulley of Willisville; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
