Roscoe and I returned home from Baptist Medical Center on Monday afternoon. We are thankful he didn't have to have any surgery for his sleeping disorder. He is sleeping under a little machine that gives him more air but not oxygen. We will go back in two months to see how much progress he has made.

Jim Dixon went to Texarkana Monday and got a pretty good report. At least they were able to be in church Sunday. Pray that he will continue to get better.

Sherry Dillard Clark had to be carried to a Texarkana hospital this past week. She is still there, but the report is that she has improved a little. Continue to pray for her and her family.

Tommy Ray Waters will entered St. Michael's Hospital Monday for tests. He and Merna will appreciate prayers on his behalf.

Alan and Keri Russo made their trip to Tampa, Fla., just fine. They came home on Saturday and will be moving there on Thursday. Alan got a job.

We celebrated Veneta Bustin's birthday on Tuesday at the Golden Care Center in Medical Park Hospital in Hope. We had birthday cake, ice cream and Coke for all the patients there. Veneta is to return to Hillcrest Rehab Center in Prescott on Wednesday. Please pray for her and her family.

Lairy and Brenda Hart were supper guests at Valeria O'keefe's on Sunday night.

Roscoe and I were supper guests of Bill and Pat Lusby of Camden on Saturday night. Their daughter, Donna, and her husband and son Dusty of Camden were there and grandson, wife and baby of Denton, Texas, were supper guests too. The children sang several songs for us after supper. We really did enjoy it. Pat had lots of good food.

Sue Dixon shopped in Prescott and Hope on Friday afternoon. Winnie Bailey and I shopped in Prescott on Saturday morning.

We elected officers and teachers at Rosston Baptist Church on Sunday night. If you don't like the job you get it's because you weren't there. You really can get jobs if you're not present to defend yourself. Our church is growing and we appreciate our pastor and wife. By the time I write the news again I hope there will be a new addition to their family.

Jeff and Tara Carlton and children attended the singing at Union Street Station in Magnolia on Saturday night. The Men of Calvary, along with our pastor, were honored. They report a good hot time. Something about the air wasn't working.

Make plans to come to revival at Rosston on August 30 through September 4. Bro. Sam Husser will be the evangelist with different singers each night. There will be more about it later.

Joey and Ellen Wallace attended a family reunion of a lake somewhere this past weekend. We missed them in church Sunday.

I hope this week will be cooler.
