Club Sponsoring Postmark

The Pinnacle Stamp Club of Arkansas is sponsoring a special pictorial postmark on January 20 for the inauguration of President William Jefferson Clinton.

The postmark will only be available to the pubilc on January 20 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Arkansas State Capitol in the first floor rotunda.

Four years ago the stamp club sponsored a similar postmark at the Old State House for President Clinton's first inauguration.

This year the club will have special envelopes for sale with a picture of the Clinton family on the front. The envelope will have a stamp and the special Little Rock, Arkansas Inauguration Day postmark featuring the Arkansas State Capitol dome.

The envelope with the special postmark will be sold for $2.50 each or five for $10 with a portion of the proceeds going toward the restoration of the Old State House.
