Air Lift Called In After Bronco Flips Four Times

Paramedics and volunteers help to console 4-year-old Adrian Rodriquez after she was injured last week in an automobile.

The 1990 Ford Bronco Maria Rodriquez, 30, was driving, left Interstate 30 and traveled in the median 217 feet before coming back on the highway. Mrs. Rodriquez then lost control again and went back into the median, where the Bronco flipped four times before coming to a rest.

Mrs. Rodriquez, the girl's mother and owner of the Bronco, was the worst injured. She was air lifted to a Texarkana hospital suffering from paralysis and at least two broken arms. Other family members, Rauel Rodriquez, 31, and Ruel Rodriquez Jr., 2, were also injured. All were taken to hospitals.

The accident happened around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, January 14, near exit 44 at Prescott. The family is from Silver Springs, Md. ASP trooper Duvall Moore investigated the accident.
