William Loyd McDonaldPublished Wednesday, January 22, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesWilliam Loyd McDonald, 76, of Delight died Monday, January 13, 1997, at Pike County Hospital in Murfreesboro. Born February 18, 1920, in Okolona, he was the son of the late Kirk M. and Lizzie Frazier McDonald, a construction worker and a disabled American Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of American Legion at Delight and the Eagles Club in Nashville. Survivors include three daughters, Judith Stone and Janice Lee of Murfreesboro and Billie Ullrich of Delight; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Services were held Wednesday, January 15, at the Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home chapel in Arkadelphia with Bro. Tommy Mounts officiating.
