The Mercy Med Flight had a program for charitable ambulance service. This benefit was held at Klipsch auditorium at 7 p.m. July 31. Russ Carlton was invited to sing along with the other performers. Russ sang a couple of songs. He did his medley and got a standing ovation and also for his other number. Way to go, Russ.

Ashley and Blair Hall of West Monroe was in Sunday school with Mama, Marguerite Dorman.

I hear the youth from the other Bodcaw Church went to Six Flags on Saturday. I think they found out how hot the Texas sun gets.

Mary Anna Dorman spent a few days in a Shreveport hospital. She is home now, so remember her and our other sick.

Happy birthday to Hayden Poindexter, Dexter and Earlene Butler. Ruby Vines, Wanda Poindexter, Amber Baker and Jewel Norman Poindexter. I will give the other August birthdays another time.

Danny and Jessie Lewis are moving to the Adams place. Welcome to the area.

Chris, Jennifer and McKenzie Walton were in church with us. Welcome.
