Lula Buchanan JustissPublished Wednesday, January 29, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneLula Buchanan Justiss, 94, of Prescott died Friday, January 24, 1997, at Butterfield Trail Village in Fayetteville. Born in Okolona on July 10, 1902, she was the widow of Marcus Davies Justiss, a member of First United Methodist Church of Prescott and a member of Arkansas Forestry Association. Survivors include one son, William Buchanan Justiss, of Fayetteville; three grandchildren; and one great grandson. Services were held Monday, January 27, at First United Methodist Church. Burial was in DeAnn Cemetery under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott. Memorials may be made to University of Arkansas Medical School student scholarship fund in Little Rock.
