Ken BurrowPublished Wednesday, January 29, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneKen Burrow, 57, of Garland, Texas, formerly of Prescott, died December 16, 1996, at his home. Born in Prescott on September 14, 1939, he was a 1957 graduate of Prescott High School, a former member of the Prescott National Guard, a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves, a bank teller for NationsBank in Garland, a member of Buckingham United Methodist Church in Garland, a member of Elks Lodge 71 in Dallas, Texas, and a member of the Lone Star Solos Square Dance Club. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lynda Burrow, his mother and one brother. Survivors include his wife, Marlene Burrow of Garland; his father, John Burrow of Dallas; two sons, David Larry Burrow of Garland and Paul Scott Burrow of Little Rock; three stepchildren, Carol Matesic of Plano, Texas, Cynthia Havrilak of Washington, Penn., and William McCay of Abilene, Texas; one brother, Randall Burrow of Dallas, Texas; and seven grandchildren. Services were held December 18 at Buckingham United Methodist Church in Garland with Revs. Larry Tinsley and John Rosenburg officiating. Burial was in Garland Memorial Park.
