Mark Thomas Edds of Gurdon has been placed on the president's list at Ouachita Baptist University for the 1996 fall semester.

There were 337 students named to the list, according to Dr. Mike Arrington, vice president for academic affairs.

Michael Lee McClure of Gurdon was placed on the dean's list.

To be named to the president's list, a student must compile a 4.00 (straight A's) grade point average and be classified as a fulltime student taking a minimum of 12 academic hours.

Students making at least a 3.50 grade point average and up to a four-point average for the semester are placed on the dean's list.
