Chili Supper ScheduledPublished Wednesday, February 12, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Hornet Athletic Booster Club will have a chili supper Friday night before the Blevins-Prescott basketball games. The club will host the supper in order to raise funds to continue feeding the athlete's and cheerleaders before the away games. The goal is to raise enough money to be able to also feed the baseball, softball and track teams. Carryouts will be available starting at 3:00 p.m. with the supper starting at 5:00 p.m. Cost of the meal is $3 for carryouts, dine-in adults $3, and children second grade and under, $2.
