Shelby F. Hunter

Shelby F. Hunter, 94, of Laneburg, died Saturday, February 15, 1997, at his home.

Born January 13, 1903, in Nevada County, he was a retired sawmill worker.

Survivors include his wife, Reeder Mason Hunter of Laneburg; four sons, James Hunter and Don Hunter of Laneburg, Thomas Hunter of Rosston and Adrian Hunter of Little Rock; one daughter, Maurice Johnson of Hobbs, N.M.; one brother, George Hunter of Nash, Texas; one sister, Jane Duncan of Bonnerdale; 10 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Monday, February 17, at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bluff City with Revs. Raymond Hicks and George Hunter officaiting. Burial was under the direction of Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
