College NewsPublished Wednesday, February 19, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneSouthern Arkansas University in Magnolia has released the names of the students named to the dean's list for the fall semester. To be eligible for the dean's list, a student must be registered in 12 or more semester hours and attain a grade point average of 3.5 or above. Students who were named to the dean's list included from Prescott: Deanna Ellis, Katie Gordon, Donna Hamilton, Traci Hughes and Stacy Milam; from Emmet, Shelly Browning; and from Rosston Tracy Carlton. Malinda Beavers of Prescott has been named to the dean's list at Southern Arkansas University Tech for the 1996 fall semester. Students earning a spot on the dean's list must make a grade point average of 3.5 or better. Beavers is a second year computer programming technology major at SAU Tech.
