At DeGray State Park - Saturday, March 1stPublished Wednesday, February 19, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneDeGray Lake Resort State Park will be hosting its second annual KidCare Photo ID event on Saturday, March 1, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The event is part of a national effort to provide parents with personal safety identifications of their children in the event of an emergency. National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Polaroid Corporation have developed the KidCare Photo ID as part of a national campaign to increase awareness about missing children and educate parents about the steps they can take to help to protect their children. The KidCare ID is a NCMEC approved form of standard indentification for children. The session is limited to 100 children in the 3- to 10-year-old age group. There is no charge for the KidCare ID packet. DeGray Lake Resort State Park is located six miles north of I-30 at Caddo Valley (exit 78). Call 501-865-2801 for more information.
