Armon Edwin BuckPublished Wednesday, February 19, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesArmon Edwin Buck, 75, of Arkadelphia died Saturday, February 15, 1997, at Baptist Medical Central in Arkadelphia. He was born July 23, 1921, in Fendley. He was the son of the late Albert and Eula Fendley Buck. He was a lifelong Clark County resident, World War II army veteran, mason, retired foreman with International Paper Company and a member of Oak Bower Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Susie Chancellor Buck; four sons, Charles Edwin `Eddie' Buck of Glenwood, Travis Ray Buck of Arkadelphia, Mickey Wayne Buck of Caney and David Armon Buck of Gurdon; one brother, Dalton Buck of Malvern; two sisters, Elfreda Cimino of Bismarck and Juanita Burks of Benton; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, February 17, at Oak Grove Community Church with Revs. Bill Freeman and John Graham officiating. Interment with full military honors was in Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorial may be made to Oak Grove Cemetery Fund. Pallbearers were Elendle Buck, Elton Buck, Orville Buck, Mike Buck, Jessie Runyan, Lynn Shepherd, Rickey Kirksey, Donnie Jones and David Chancellor.
